Claims Policy
for the sale of goods, tickets, and participation in the Czech Brew Star competition
1. Introductory Provisions
1.1. This Claims Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regulates the procedure for exercising rights arising from defective performance (claims) in connection with the purchase of goods, tickets, and registration for the Czech Brew Star competition.
1.2. The Seller is:

registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno
(hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”).
1.3. This Policy forms an integral part of the Seller’s Terms and Conditions.
2. Claims for Goods
2.1. The Buyer – consumer has the right to file a claim for defects in goods within 24 months from their receipt.
2.2. Claims must be made without undue delay after discovering the defect, in writing to the Seller’s registered office address or by e-mail to the contact address provided on the website.
2.3. A claim must include:
- Buyer identification,
- order or invoice number,
- description of the defect and the requested remedy.
2.4. The Seller shall confirm receipt of the claim and decide on its recognition or rejection without undue delay, no later than 30 days after receiving the claim.
2.5. If the claim is accepted, the goods will be repaired, replaced, discounted, or the purchase price refunded.
3. Claims for Tickets
3.1. Tickets for events are tied to a specific date and are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.
3.2. Ticket payments are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled to a date the Buyer cannot attend.
3.3. In the event of cancellation, the Buyer is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
4. Competition Registration Fees
4.1. Registration for the Czech Brew Star competition becomes binding upon payment of the registration fee.
4.2. Registration fees are non-refundable and not subject to claims, even in the event of:
- non-delivery of samples,
- withdrawal of the participant,
- disqualification of the sample from evaluation.
4.3. The only exception is cancellation of the competition by the Organizer, in which case the fee will be refunded in full.
5. Common Provisions
5.1. Claims must be filed without undue delay after discovering the defect.
5.2. The Buyer/Participant will be notified of the outcome of the claim in writing or by e-mail.
5.3. This Claims Policy comes into effect on the date of its publication on the website www.czechbrewstar.com.
